  Aside from the constant racist comments his diagnosis was also completely off. He ordered an X-ray on my teeth before he even looked in my mouth and told me my tooth needed to come out, which would be 650 dollars. I went to a different dentist the next day who said I didn't need an X-ray and that there was no need for my tooth to come out as I had an infection. He gave me a prescription of antibiotics and my tooth is now fine.

  I saw Dr George Hedges at this practice and I found him completely unprofessional, bordering on racist. From the moment I entered the practice he constantly mimicked my accent and commented on the fact that I was not from Australia. At one point he even suggested that I cover my nostril and talk in "Aussie speak" so he could understand me. This was after I answered a question he asked me.

  my friend's phone number but he told me he was very busy (playing bridge) and couldn't do two things at once. Then he hung up on me. Really unprofessional. Zero interest in ever seeing him in future.

  I would never go back to this practice and I found Dr Hedges to be the most unprofessional, obnoxious dentist I have ever seen. I would not recommend this practice to anyone

  Found Rose K's review very helpful. Not shocked by the casual racism but disgusted all the same. Saw Dr Hedges years ago and he did 2 X-rays of the same tooth (and charged me for it) and incorrectly diagnosed a tooth ache as because of a wisdom tooth and suggested I book in for its removal later in the week. I thought it strange that a wisdom tooth would hurt my second last tooth and not my last tooth if it was because of pressure from a wisdom tooth, as he had mentioned. Got a second opinion from my regular dentist (who I couldn't see initially because they were booked for months) who found I needed root canal, and confirmed my suspicions that a wisdom tooth would not impact my second last tooth. Was checking reviews in case the place had changed hands as my old dentist has left, but it looks like Dr Hedges is still there!
